Trimming crews working near Bethany substation
 During August, the Davey Tree bucket truck trimming crews will work in and around the Bethany substation area. The Skytrim machine will be cutting throughout the Lesslie community. Trimming or removing trees and other growth around power lines helps us provide safe, reliable service.
In addition to trimming trees, YEC uses herbicides to manage growth in our rights of way. Herbicides were recently applied in the Van Wyck, North Lancaster, India Hook, Catawba, Seven Oaks and Kingsburry areas. If you see areas that you think may need to be addressed, call member services at (803) 684-4248. We'll have someone look into it and, if necessary, a crew will be dispatched to deal with the problem.
