South Carolina Appliance Rebates
South Carolinians can replace old household appliances with new energy-efficient models and receive discounts of $50 to $500 beginning March 31.
Rebates for Energy Star-certified refrigerators, dishwashers, water heaters and other appliances will be offered until funds for the Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate program are exhausted.
York Electric encourages members to take advantage of the rebates ASAP, as funds are expected to be rapidly exhausted. For details, including participating retailers and contractors, access ApplianceRebates.sc.gov.
Energy Star-qualified appliances use 10–50 percent less energy and water than standard models. To learn more about the benefits of replacing old appliances, access TogetherWeSave.com, a consumer resource provided by York Electric and 700 other Touchstone Energy Cooperatives nationwide.
