Board honors Sadler, Wilkerson for service

YEC's board of trustees honored Oscar A. Sadler and Roy Wilkerson during the annual meeting May 8 for their faithful and dedicated service as members of the board of trustees.

Sadler, the longest-serving trustee in co-op history, retired in May after 47 years on the board. Presenting Sadler with a plaque, Charles R. (Dick) Burrell, vice chairman, praised Sadler's unfailing loyalty to the co-op and wholehearted support for fellow members.

Geraldine Wilkerson accepted a plaque honoring her late husband, Roy Wilkerson, for his 40 years of board service. Wilkerson will be remembered for his wise counsel and untiring efforts, Burrell said.
