In order to qualify for York Electric's Residential/Energy-efficient all electric rate (Rate Code 5), you must be an individually-metered residential customer living in a residence, mobile home, condominium or apartment that meets certain energy efficiency requirements.
These requirements apply to insulation in ceilings, walls and floors, heat pumps, water heaters and other factors that affect the energy efficiency of your home.
If we find that your home meets all necessary requirements, you will be eligible for the energy efficiency rate as shown below.
