In case you missed it, YEC’s Annual Meeting showed how we’re looking out for you

We enjoyed our time with YEC members who attended our 71st Annual Meeting in May. Thank you for taking an active role in your co-op! Even if you didn’t win a door prize, we hope you came away satisfied.
We missed those who couldn’t attend—and they missed a great chance to learn how YEC always looks out for its members. We offered information about Power Saver Rewards, an incentive-based program that provides bill credits to members who help us reduce our peak demand. We shared more ways to save using your Co-op Connections card. We showed how participating in YEC’s community service program, Operation Round Up, really makes a difference.
We partnered with York County Solid Waste Collection and Recycling Department to provide free energy conservation kits, funded by a Department of Energy grant, to registered members. If you received a kit, York County wants to know what you think about it. Please take the short survey found here. Our low-cost/no-cost energy-saving measures brochure was made available to help you manage your home’s energy costs. We reminded you of how YEC’s website has thousands of dollars’ worth of energy-saving advice.

While our website, our e-newsletter and South Carolina Living are great ways to keep up with how we’re looking out for you, we’d love to tell you in person next spring. Hope you can make it.
