I love my country and I am proud to have served as a paratrooper in the United States Army for 4 years with a total of 86 jumps. 3) I love being outside. I’m an avid outdoorsman and sportsman.
What is the most salient issue faced by YEC and your plan to address it? I believe YEC faces many challenges in today’s world. I see YEC is faced with several important issues including keeping rates low, continuing to return high capital credits to members, keeping employees safe, and providing up-to-date equipment for employees to perform their jobs efficiently and safely. I plan to address these issues by being a good listener for members, learning what they need, and addressing any problems adds to their level of service. Working with the existing board members, we can address their concerns together to keep members happy. Another challenge I see is addressing the needs of the new, “green” members and providing the power necessary for their interests, including EVs.
What does membership mean to you? Being a member of an organization creates a sense of belonging and shared beliefs. No matter what membership you discuss or consider, it is important to me to belong to a group of people with good morals and values, and where my voice is heard and vote matters. I would be honored to serve on YEC’s board to help members and neighbors where I grew up.
