Seal air leaks and gaps to stay warm

Caulk around windows, doors and other gaps to stop cold air from sneaking in and warm air from escaping. It’s a low-cost fix to help any heating system work more efficiently.

Use curtains & rugs strategically

Cover bare floors with rugs to reduce heat loss through tile or wood and make rooms feel warmer. Limit heat loss through windows by closing your curtains at night after letting the sun in during the day.

Insulate your hot water pipes

Wrap exposed hot water pipes with foam or insulation sleeves. This keeps the water hotter for longer, reduces the energy your water heater uses and helps you get hot water faster.
