Official notice of York Electric’s Annual Meeting

YEC will cel­e­brate 85 years of ser­vice to the mem­bers of York Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive by host­ing their vir­tu­al busi­ness meet­ing of mem­bers on Sat­ur­day, May 2nd at 5 p.m. Mem­bers can tune in on the cooperative’s Face­book page or on the cooperative’s web­site. A tran­script of the vir­tu­al meet­ing will also be avail­able on our web­site fol­low­ing the meet­ing.

Action will be tak­en on the fol­low­ing mat­ters dur­ing the meet­ing:

1. The report of offi­cers, trustees and com­mit­tees

2. The elec­tion of trustees

3. All oth­er busi­ness which may come before the meet­ing

Your coop­er­a­tive encour­ages you to choose one of the two dri­ve-thru reg­is­tra­tion and vot­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties to exer­cise your voice and the pow­er of your mem­ber­ship:

• Wednes­day, April 29th, at Tega Cay’s Cataw­ba Park, 2351 New Gray Rock Road, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Sat­ur­day, May 2nd, at YEC’s main office, 1385 E. Alexan­der Love High­way, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Mem­bers must bring a valid pho­to ID and their reg­is­tra­tion card, which is found on the front cov­er of this mag­a­zine, to receive a reg­is­tra­tion gift of a $25 pow­er bill cred­it in June of 2026. Each mem­ber who attends in per­son is eli­gi­ble for one reg­is­tra­tion, vote and prize draw­ing entry. All mem­bers who wish to be entered into the prize draw­ing and to vote must be in line by 2 p.m. on Wednes­day or by 1 p.m. on Sat­ur­day.

Your cooperative’s audit­ed finan­cial report will be avail­able dur­ing the week of the annu­al meet­ing on our web­site, at each of YEC’s offices, and by request at the annu­al meet­ing.
