YEC will celebrate 85 years of service to the members of York Electric Cooperative by hosting their virtual business meeting of members on Saturday, May 2nd at 5 p.m. Members can tune in on the cooperative’s Facebook page or on the cooperative’s website. A transcript of the virtual meeting will also be available on our website following the meeting.
Action will be taken on the following matters during the meeting:
1. The report of officers, trustees and committees
2. The election of trustees
3. All other business which may come before the meeting
Your cooperative encourages you to choose one of the two drive-thru registration and voting opportunities to exercise your voice and the power of your membership:
- Wednesday, April 29th, at Tega Cay’s Catawba Park, 2351 New Gray Rock Road, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Saturday, May 2nd, at YEC’s main office, 1385 E. Alexander Love Highway, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Members must bring a valid photo ID and their registration card, which is found on the front cover of this magazine, to receive a registration gift of a $25 power bill credit in June of 2026. Each member who attends in person is eligible for one registration, vote and prize drawing entry. All members who wish to be entered into the prize drawing and to vote must be in line by 2 p.m. on Wednesday or by 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Your cooperative’s audited financial report will be available during the week of the annual meeting on our website, at each of YEC’s offices, and by request at the annual meeting.
You will find a map for the voting and registration drive-thru routes on the back cover of SC Living Magazine and on our website, along with a list of prizes available for our drawing winners. For more details about the annual meeting, please contact our Member Services team at (803) 684‑4248.
I look forward to seeing you and your family on Wednesday, April 29th or Saturday, May 2nd at our drive-thru registration and voting and hope you tune in to our online business meeting.
