Coastal Carolina kicks off its first Green Power football game

The field will remain teal, but the energy will be green.

When it comes to utilizing clean, renewable energy through Green Power, Coastal Carolina University has always scored big as a champion of the environment. Beginning in 2001, CCU became one of the state's first Green Power Partners. Then in 2006, the University established a far-reaching Community Sustainability Initiative that included the first solar photovoltaic (PV) project at a public university in South Carolina.
